Accountability, Motivation, Support, and Honest Feedback in a Safe Space
Being a high-achieving executive means you shoulder a wealth of business decisions every day. You must develop a solid business strategy to acquire a business, achieve growth, sell it, or plan for its successor. You shouldn’t make these critical business decisions alone.
But you can’t rely on just anybody for advice. You need trusted, honest support from like-minded executives in a Vistage CEO advisory group led by a seasoned Vistage Chair.
Becoming a Vistage CEO Peer Group member grants you access to outstanding leaders of companies routinely named in Albany’s Top Places to Work and Inc. 5000 Magazine’s Fastest Growing Private Companies in the United States.

What is a Vistage CEO Peer Group?
A Vistage CEO peer group comprises twelve to sixteen fellow CEOs, business leaders, and business owners, led by a Vistage Chair. As the chair of an established, successful Vistage CEO group, I’ve seen the unparalleled power unleashed when a room full of high-achieving executives put their minds together. Tremendous growth and change happen when you feel safe, supported, understood, and held accountable.
Once a month, you’ll meet with the other peer group members for the entirety of the day. (8:30 am to 4:00 pm.) In addition to meeting with this powerful, insightful group of individuals, you’ll meet with me monthly one-on-one for a one-and-a-half-hour coaching session.

Benefits of CEO Advisory Groups
When you become a member of one of Vistage’s CEO groups, you gain access to the experience, wisdom, and insights of executives similar to yourself. Amassing knowledge from others in similar positions allows you to make better business decisions and achieve more significant growth.
Joining CEO peer groups has an incredible number of benefits you can’t get from simply conversing with others:
- Leadership Development: Vistage helps leaders grow by supporting CEOs in becoming more effective and self-aware. Their CEO peer groups aim to develop leadership skills for success.
- Confidentiality and Trust: CEO advisory groups operate with confidentiality, so you can trust them with sensitive business matters.
- Accountability: Being a part of a Vistage CEO advisory group allows you to share goals, progress, and ideas with others in similar situations. When you have the accountability of others of this caliber, you’ll be motivated to stay focused and committed to achieving your objectives.
- New and Diverse Perspectives: Vistage CEO Peer Groups are not comprised of competing business owners. Instead, you’ll be elbow-to-elbow with leaders from various industries and backgrounds from which you’ll gain fresh ideas, innovative approaches, and different views on problem-solving.
- Camaraderie and Support: Being a CEO can be incredibly isolating. When you’re part of a CEO group, you benefit from the support and camaraderie when you share the unique stresses and pressures of being a leader.
- Networking Opportunities: By bringing together successful CEOs and business owners, networking opportunities arise for valuable partnerships and collaborations.
